ABOUT OUR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Children at Bradley Epworth are valued, cared for, and discipled. We strive to create space and opportunity for them to learn about God, experience God, and grow in their relationship with God. Children’s Ministry starts after worship ends and we enjoy the children’s freedom during worship as they dance, wave flags, and sing with our entire church family.
We offer 5 rooms for your children: A classroom for infants, newborns through 2 years old. A classroom for toddlers, ages 3 through 5 years old. A classroom for kids, ages 6 through 9 years old, and a classroom for middle schoolers, ages 10 through 13 years old. Lastly, a sensory room for children who struggle with overstimulation or have special needs is available to use but is not staffed currently.
Check-in will begin shortly after worship has concluded. The check-in station is located upstairs across from the church office. We will require an approved adult to pick up your child once the service has ended.
CLASSROOM INFO
Infants
Newborn – 2 year olds.
- Located in the nursery hallway, last door on the left.
- Toys, changing tables and supplies, high chairs, snacks, and rockers available.
- Sermon is available in the room.
Toddlers
3 year olds – 5 year olds
- Located in the Nursery Hallway, first door on the right.
- Gospel Project curriculum and snacks.
- Games, crafts, and toddler Bibles.
Elementary School Age
6 year olds – 9 year olds
- Located downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
- Gospel Project curriculum and snacks.
- Games, friends, and the Bible.
Middle School Age
10 year olds – 12 year olds
- Located up the stairs behind the coffee counter in the "Upper Room".
- Gospel Project curriculum and snacks.
- Fellowship, friends, and the Bible.
Sensory Room
5 year olds – 12 year olds
- Located in the nursery hallway, first door on the left.
- The room is staffed and also has sensory toys, sensory objects, and soft lighting.
- Sermon is available in the room.
Parents must stay with their children here.
Nursing Mother's Room
A room for mothers who need a private place for nursing, pumping, or bottle feeding
- Located at the end of the hall in the Nursery Hallway.
- Gliders, Pack and play, changing table and supplies.
- The service is available to watch on a TV in the room.
VOLUNTEER INFO
All volunteers have an application and background check on file. Making sure the right people are in the rooms, each Sunday, is very important to us at Bradley Epworth. Contact our ministry leader, Cat, if you are interested in volunteering!
